Education: I received my Ph.D. degree from the Federal University of Bahia (2019), advised by Professor Eduardo Almeida, Ivan Machado and Christian Kästner. During the Ph.D., I was a visiting researcher at Carnegie Mellon University (Pittsburgh, USA), supervised by Professor Christian Kästner. I received my M.Sc. degree from the Federal University of Bahia (2014). During my Master, I was a visiting Scholar at Mälardalen University (Västerås, Sweden). I have a B.S. in Computer Engineer from the State University of Feira de Santana, 2011.
Area of interest: Software Engineering, focused (but not restricted) on fault-detection and feature interaction projects, run-time systems analysis, software testing, methods, processes, tools and metrics for reusable software development, software quality, software product lines, highly configurable systems. I also have a certain affection for other areas, such as: Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Electrical Circuits and Digital Systems.
